About Morgan's

Established in 2019


Morgan's Butchery is owned and run by Miles Nicholas and his family.


Miles is former President of Cambridge and District Master Butchers Association and has over 40 years experience in the industry and has set up and run many other successful butchers shops in the local area.


Amy, Miles' daughter and Co-Director of Morgan's has also set up, run and manages multiple other successful businesses around the area, she joined the family business in 2023 to support her Dad with the ins and outs of running a business.


Morgan's Butchery deals directly with local farmers and suppliers to make sure that the produce is of the best quality. We are a traditional Butchers shop and aim to bring great British butchery into the 21st century and to educate everyone about the importance of buying high welfare locally sourced produce.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Being a small Butchery, we can focus on our main values as butchers. 

  • Local produce, for example our fabulous selection of British Game from Baythorne Hall itself. 
  • High Welfare, for example our Bronze Turkeys from Bury St Edmunds who we visit on a yearly basis to make sure that we are happy with how the Turkeys are bred and cared for. 
  • Lastly, High Quality, sourcing our meats from the best suppliers available, such as Fowlers, Diaper Poultry and Bramfield Meat. Using Farmers and other small businesses with the same values as us.
